<클럽 리얼리티>는 분명히 연극이지만, 무엇이 연극이고 무엇이 아닌지 아무도 알 수 없도록 구조화된 조금 이상한 상황이다. 이것은 11주 동안 연속적으로 이어지는 이벤트, 리얼리티 쇼 혹은 일련의 상황극이다. <클럽 리얼리티>의 세계관을 작동시키는 가장 중요한 전제는 그 곳에서, 모든 말은 거짓말이라는 것이다. 모든 발언과, 모든 설정들은 이러한 전제 위에서 만들어지며, 따라서 서로에 대한 궁극적인 판단은 유예된다.

11명의 참여자(작가는 이들을 베타 테스터라고 부른다.) 는 자신의 정체를 숨기고 자신이 스스로 설정한 다른 존재로 분하여 모임에 참여한다. 모임의 모든 구성원들은 서로의 존재를 믿겠다고 약속하고 매주 미리 기획된 에피소드를 겪어낸다. 11주 동안 매일, 그들은 자신이 만들어낸 허구적 존재의 관점에서 일기를 쓰는데, 이는 마지막에 '증언'의 형태로 조합되어 사건이 실제로 존재했음을 밝히는 중요한 단서로 기능한다. 모임은 처음 10주 동안은 비공개로 운영되지만, 11주차인 마지막 주에는 전시(10주간의 활동기록을 찍은 수백장의 사진들), 그리고 재즈 음악이 들어찬 파티로 탈바꿈한다. 입장하는 관객들은 사전 예약을 통해, 그들의 이름과 인적사항을 작성하도록 요청받고, 이를 통해 이름표가 만들어진다. 전시 현장을 방문한 관객들은 반드시 '다른 사람'의 이름표를 달고 입장해야 한다. 그리고 모든 것이 벌어지는 마지막 현장에서, 그 이름표의 주인 행세를 하며, 파티를 즐기게 된다. 그 곳에서는 반드시 어딘가에, 자신의 행세를 하는 누군가 (그러나 그는 누가 이 이름표의 진짜 주인인지는 영원히 알 수 없다.)가 존재하도록 상황이 구성된다.

<Club Reality> is obviously a play, but it's a bit of an odd situation, structured so that no one knows what's a play and what's not. This is an 11-week chain of events, a reality show, or a situation play. The most important premise that makes the worldview of <Club Reality> work is that you should only tell lies here. All things are contrived, and therefore all ultimate judgments are deferred.

Eleven participants, hiding their real identities, join the gathering as someone else they created themselves. All members of the gathering promise to believe each other that their existence is real, and perform weekly pre-planned episodes. Every day for 11 weeks, they write a diary from the perspective of a fictional existence they have created themselves, which is finally put together in the form of a 'testimony' and serves as an important clue to reveal that the event actually existed. The final scene of the private gathering is transformed into an exhibition and a public party with jazz music. Spectators who have submitted their names and detailed personal information in advance wear a name tag of 'another person and pretend to be that person, enjoying the party. It is structured so that everyone has someone at the party who is pretending to be themselves.

에피소드 1 (Episode 1) : 완벽한 연인들 (Perfect Lovers)

1. 자신이 아닌 다른 누군가를 사칭하는 자들이 모인다.

2. 모임 내에서 서로 상대를 정하고, 서로를 소개한다.

3. 서로의 거짓말을, 양측 모두가 그것이 사실이라고 믿을 만큼 성심을 다해 듣고, 그 내용을 믿기로 스스로 설득한다.

4. 모여 앉아 자신이 들은 이야기를 공유한다.

1. Gather people who impersonate someone other than themselves.

2. Name and introduce each other at the meeting.

3. Listen sincerely to each other's lies and convince yourself that both sides are right.

4. Sit down and share the stories you hear.

에피소드 2 (Episode 2) : 미친사람, 그리고 더 미친사람 (The crazy one, and the crazier one)

1. 음악을 하나 골라 재생한다.
2. 한 사람은 그것에 반응하여 몸을 움직이고, 다른 한 사람은 그를 쫓아다니며 실시간으로 그 움직임을, 마치 소설 속의 장면을 묘사하듯, 큰 소리로 구술한다.

3. 모든 문장에는 움직임의 '주어'를 넣는다. 순서를 바꿔가며, 이것이 지극히 익숙해질때까지 반복한다.

1. Select a piece of music and play it.

2. When a person moves their body in response, the other follows the person and dictates the movement aloud in real time, as if describing a scene in a novel.

3. Put the 'subject' of movement in every sentence. Change the order and repeat until you get used to it.

에피소드 3 (Episode 3) : 졸다가 꾼 꿈 (The dream during the nap)

1. 자신의 삶에서 가장 기묘한 기억을 미리 준비하여 한 명씩 그것을 이야기(10분씩)한다.
2. 나머지 사람들은 그것을 듣고 그 자리에서 그것을 그림으로 그린다.

1. Prepare in advance the most bizarre memories of your life and share them one by one. (10 minutes per person).

2. The rest of the people hear it and draw it during that time.

에피소드 4 (Episode 4) : 마시다 만 술병들 (yet unemptied bottles of wine)

1. 자신의 삶에서 가장 숨기고 싶은 기억을 하나씩 준비하여 쪽지에 적어 진행자에게 제출한다.
2. 제출된 쪽지를 제비뽑기의 방식으로 하나씩 돌아가면서 뽑는다.
3. 이렇게 해서 골라진 쪽지를, 마치 그 내용이 자신의 이야기인 것 처럼 연기하며 나머지 인원들에게 구술한다.

1. Prepare each of the memories you want to hide the most in your life, write it down on a note and submit it to the host.

2. The submitted notes are drawn one by one in the manner of the lottery.

3. In this way, the selected note is shared with the rest of the people while acting as if the content is his or her own story.

에피소드 5 (Episode 5): 판단이 유예되는 시공간 (The space-time where all the judgment is deferred)

1. 상대를 찾는다.
2. 한 쪽은 눈을 안대로 가리고, 다른 한 쪽은 그가 위험해지지 않도록 옆에서 따라다니며 보호한다. 단, 위험이 대단히 크다고 판단될 경우에만 나선다.약간의 부딪힘은 허용한다.
3. 눈을 가린 쪽은 천천히 걷는 것으로 시작하여 약 30분간 계속해서 템포를 올려가며 빠르게 공간을 배회한다. 짝을 바꾸어 이것을 다시 반복한다.
4. 다 같이 안대를 끼고, 제자리에서 열 바퀴를 빙글빙글 돈다.
5. 누군가를 한 명 더듬어서 찾고, 그와 춤을 춘다.

6. 춤을 추고 난 후, 다시 열 바퀴를 돌고 난 후 안대를 벗는다.

1. Find a partner.

2. One side covers his eyes with an eye patch, and the other side follows and protects the person from danger. However, this is only done when the risk is judged to be very high. General collisions are allowed.

3. Blindfolded side, start by walking slowly and roam the space rapidly, increasing the tempo continuously for about 30 minutes. Switch pairs and repeat this again.

4. Put on an eye patch together, and go round and round ten laps in place.

5. Find someone by groping, and dance with the person.

6. After dancing, take off the eye mask after running ten laps again.

에피소드 6 (Episode 6): 열린 계의 엔트로피 (entropy of an open system)

1. 모두가 자신의 어떤 사연이 얽힌 노래를 한 곡씩 준비한다.
2. 한 명씩, 그 노래를 모두에게 들려주고 그 노래에 관한 사연을 이야기한다. (10분씩)
3. 나머지 사람들은, 그 내용을 듣고 그 자리에서 그것을 그림으로 그린다.
4. 이렇게 해서 만들어진 그림들을, 노래에 따라 한 묶음으로 콜라주하여, 그 노래의 제목을 콜라주의 제목으로 정한다.

1. Everyone prepares a song one by one with a story entangled in them.

2. One by one, play the song to everyone and tell a story about the song. (10 minutes each)

3. The rest of the people listen to the content and draw a picture on the spot.

4. Collage the pictures made in this way into a bundle according to the song, and set the title of the song as the title of the collage.

에피소드 7 (Episode 7) : 마시다 만 술병들, 먹다 남은 음식들 (yet unemptied bottles of wine, dishes of food)

1. 첫 사랑에게 보내는 편지를 쓰고, 그것을 제출한다.
2. 제출된 편지를, 제비뽑기의 방식으로 하나씩 돌아가면서 뽑는다.
3. 이렇게 해서 골라진 쪽지를, 마치 그 내용이 자신의 이야기인 것 처럼 연기하며 나머지 인원들에게 구술한다.

1. Write a letter to your first love, fold it and submit it to the group leader.

2. The submitted letters are drawn one by one by a lot.

에피소드 8 (Episode 8) : 공원에서 만나는 날 (picnic day)

1. 공원에서 만나 포틀락 파티를 한다.
2. 각자 자신이 가져온 음식과 관련한 사연을 하나씩 준비한다.
3. 돌아가면서 그 음식을 먹을 동안, 그것과 관련한 사연을 나머지 인원들에게 구술한다.

1. Meet at the park and have a potluck party.

2. Each person prepares a story related to the food they brought.

3. While taking turns eating the food, share the story to the rest of the people.

에피소드 9 (Episode 9) : 자화상 (self-portrait)

1. 상대를 찾고, 상대와 1분간, 아무 말 없이 서로의 눈을 들여다보기로 한다.

2. 이후,다음의 열 가지 질문에 관한 답을 함께 채우고 나누기로 한다.

1. Find your partner and decide to look into each other's eyes for 1 minute without saying anything.

에피소드 10 (Episode 10) : 오직 사랑하는 이들만이 살아남는다. (only lovers left alive)

1. 상대를 찾는다.
2. 그를 사랑한다고 친다.

2. 왜 그를 사랑하는지에 관하여, 스무가지 이유를 찾아본다.

3. 이것을 제3자에게 보내는 편지형식으로 서술한다.

에피소드 11 & 12 (Episode 11 & 12) : 리리리리 리리리리 리리리얼리티 (rerererererererererereality) & 원데이 클럽 리얼리티 (One Day Club Reality)

1. 일기 속에 등장하는 사람을 한 명 초대한다.

2. 모두 함께 모여 식사를 하고 이야기를 나눈다.

3. 식사가 이루어지는 미술관의 공간에는, 지난 11주간을 기록한 사진들 약 300여장이 벽면에 붙여져 있다.

4. 단체 사진을 찍는다.

5. 식사가 끝날 때 쯤이 되면 대중 관객들이 일시에 공간으로 입장하며, 파티는 시작된다.

6. 관객들은 사전 신청을 통해, 공간에 입장하도록 안내되며, 신청 시 그들의 신상에 대한 자세한 내용을 미리 기입하도록 안내받는다.

7. 그 내용을 바탕으로 주최측은 이름표를 준비한다.

8. 입장하는 관객들은 반드시 '다른 사람의 이름표' 목에 걸고 입장하며, '그 사람' 행세를 하며, 파티에 참여한다.

9. 파티가 끝난 뒤에도 공간은 3일간 그대로 열려있다가, 이후 흔적도 없이 사라진다.

1. Invite a person who repeatedly appears in your diary.

2. Have dinner all together.

3. In the space of the museum where the dinner takes place, about 300 photos from the past 11 weeks are pasted on the wall.

4. Take a group photo.

5. Around the end of the dinner, the public audiences enter the space at once, and the party begins.

6. The audiences are guided to pre-register, and instructed to fill in the details about themselves in advance.

7. Based on that information, the organizer prepares a name tag.

8. Audiences are guided to enter by wearing 'other person's name tag' around their neck, pretending to be 'that person', and participating in the party.

9. After the party is over, the space remains open for 3 days, then disappears without a trace.
