하프노블 <녹색등대>의 베타테스터(이주 대상자)로 참여한 8인의 이주 계약서. 각각의 내용은 자신이 직접 작성한 새로운 ‘세계’로의 이주를 앞둔 이들의 새로운 삶의 첫 순간을 묘사하고 있다. 이주 이후, 각각의 인물은 이전의 기억을 모두 잃어버리게 되며 자신이 여기서 이주했다는 사실 자체를 기억할 수 없다. 계약서의 내용은 6주간의 집단 심리극을 통해 구성한 그들의 새로운 ‘유일한 세계’, 첫 장면을 다루고 있다.
(하프노블 : 반은 소설이고, 반은 실제로 일어나는 일을 매개하고 있는 형식을 의미하며 작가가 만든 개념. (페이크)다큐멘터리와 다른 점은, 그것이 '다큐멘터리'의 형식을 갖춘 통제된 서사구조 것에 반해, 하프노블은 마치 생성형 프롬프트처럼 결론이 정해지지 않는 채로 작동한다는 것. 각 챕터간의 구성은 서로를 생성하기 위한 조건처럼 기능한다.)

 

This work presents the migration contracts of eight individuals who participated as beta testers (prospective migrants) for the Half-Novel <Green Lighthouse>. The texts describe the very first moments of the new lives they have authored for themselves in a new "world." Upon migration, each subject undergoes a total memory wipe, rendering them unable to recall the fact of their migration itself. These contracts outline the opening scenes of their "unique worlds," which were constructed through a six-week collective psychodrama.

(Half-Novel: A conceptual term coined by the artist, referring to a hybrid form that mediates between fiction and actual events. Unlike a (mock) documentary, which adheres to a controlled narrative structure, a Half-Novel operates like a generative prompt, unfolding without a predetermined conclusion. Each chapter functions as a conditional parameter to generate the next.)
