"박관우는 강남 한 복판에 위치한 플랫폼엘의, 깊은 지하공간(머신룸)에 안개가 자욱하고 자뭇 수상한, 초원으로 만든다. 익숙한 동시에 낯선 이 공간 안에 홀로 춤추는 자가 보인다. 자신을 응시하는 관객을 발견한 '춤추는 자'는, 이내 그를 의식하고, 주변을 맴돌며 함께 춤을 추려는 듯 무언가를 시도한다. 관객은 이에 응하거나, 외면하거나, 아예 이 상황의 바깥에서 모든 것을 관조할 수도 있다. 작품은 내용은 이러한 상황에서 느껴지는 모든 감정의 동요에 관한 것이다.” (플랫폼엘 전시설명문구)

"Kwanwoo Park turns the deep underground space (machine room) of Platform L, located in the middle of Gangnam, into a misty and mysterious meadow. In this familiar and unfamiliar space, you see a person dancing alone. The 'dancer' soon becomes conscious of the audience, wanders around and tries something as if they are dancing together. The audience can respond, turn away, or contemplate everything outside of this situation altogether. It is all about the agitation of emotions felt in these situations.”

건물의 외벽에 바로 엘리베이터가 설치되어 있는 다소 특이한 구조의 공간에서, 관객은 신발을 벗고 엘리베이터 안으로 들어섬으로서 전시를 관람하게 된다는 안내를 받게 된다. 전시는 한 번에 한 명씩 입장할 수 있으며, 10분이라는 정해진 시간이 주어진다. 관객에게 주어지는 사전 정보는, "신발을 벗고 안으로 들어서서 지하3층 머신룸으로 이동할 것, 문이 열리면 눈 앞에 놓인 헤드셋을 쓰고 공간 안으로 걸어 들어갈 것. 음악이 꺼지고 공간의 조명이 완전히 어두워지면, 엘리베이터를 타고 다시 올라올 것." 이 전부.

관객은, 엘리베이터 문이 열리는 순간 짙은 풀내음과 함께 펼쳐진, 낙엽이 곳곳에 펼쳐진 초원을 발견하게 된다. 공간의 옆면과 천장은 시멘트와 철골구조와 같은 산업적인 외관을 띄며, 정면에 커다란 빈 스크린이 설치되어 있다. 관객이 들어서면 노란 텅스텐 조명이 스크린과 바닥에 반쯤 걸친 채로 서서히 드리우며, 10분이 지나면서 다시 서서히 꺼진다. 관객은 엘리베이터 앞에 놓인 좌대 위의 헤드셋을 머리에 쓰고 공간 안으로 걸어 들어간다. 이어 관객은 공간 안에 머무르는 '인터프리터'(겉으로 보았을때 일반 관객처럼 보이며, 역시 헤드셋을 쓴 채 뭔가를 듣고 있는)를 만나게 되며, 그/그녀와 10분간 시공을 함께한다.

작가가 설정한 작품의 구성에 대한 관객과 인터프리터 모두에게 제한적으로만 제공된다. 작가는 관객과 인터프리터가 공존하는 작품을 직접 볼 수 없도록 제한되며 작품을 경험하는 시간동안 사진, 영상을 포함한 어떠한 방식의 아카이빙도 금지된다. 작품은 오직 관객과 인터프리터만의 개인적 경험, 기억으로만 남게 된다. (본 페이지에 있는 이미지들은 모두 최종 리허설때 촬영된 것들이다.)

전시와 관련한 모든 텍스트는 관객이 전시를 관람한 후 퇴장 시에 제공되며, 관객들은 이미 일어난 사건을, 단서를 통해 사후에 추적 하듯 글을 읽게 된다. (전시서문 바로 읽기)

In a space with a rather unusual structure in which the lift is installed directly on the outer wall of the building, the audience is instructed to take off their shoes and enter the lift. Only one person can enter at a time, and there is a fixed time limit of 10 minutes. The preliminary information given to the audience is, "Take off your shoes and go inside, go to the machine room on the 3rd basement floor, and when the door opens, put on the headphone in front of you and walk into the space. When the music goes off and the lighting in the space is completely dark, you should use the lift. I will ride and come back."

As soon as the lift door is opened, the audience discovers an artificial meadow with real fallen leaves spread out with a thick scent of grass. The side and ceiling of the space have an industrial appearance like cement and steel structure, and a large blank screen is installed in the front. As the audience enters, a yellow tungsten light slowly falls on the screen and the floor halfway, then slowly turns off again after 10 minutes.

The audience puts on the headphone on the pedestal in front of the lift and walks into the space. Then, the audience meets an 'interpreter' who stays in the space (looks like a regular audience, and is also listening to something through the headphone), and he/she and her 10 minutes of space-time together.

The information about the work is provided limitedly to the audience, the interpreter, and even the artist himself. The artist cannot directly see what has actually happened during the work. Any form of archiving by anyone is prohibited. The work remains only as a personal experience and memory of the audience and the interpreter. All texts related to the exhibition are provided after the audience exits, and the audience reads the text as if tracking an event that has already occurred.
